2025 ZERO SR: Technical data, Features, Design, Price.
The 2025 Zero SR is one of Zero Motorcycles’ most popular electric motorcycles, an evolution of the S model that aims to deliver improved performance and performance for everyday use and long-distance touring. The SR embodies the idea that electric motorcycles can be powerful, reliable and efficient.
Design and Construction
The 2025 Zero SR inherits the classic and minimalist design of its predecessors. The motorcycle has a sporty appearance with clean lines and modern details, which gives it a stylish and technological look. Unlike traditional motorcycles with an internal combustion engine, the SR is simple in design: the absence of an exhaust system, oil and filters makes it cleaner and easier to maintain.
The riding position of the motorcycle provides comfort for both short city trips and longer journeys. The ergonomics are thought out in such a way that the rider feels confident on any type of road.
Specifications and Performance
The 2025 Zero SR is powered by a Z-Force 75-7 electric motor that produces 70 hp (52 kW) and 157 Nm of torque. This torque is available instantly, allowing the SR to accelerate smoothly and confidently. The maximum speed of the motorcycle reaches about 165 km / h, which makes it an excellent choice not only for the city, but also for the highway.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 14.4 kWh battery, which provides a range of up to 288 km in the city cycle. On the highway, this figure drops to about 140 km at a speed of 113 km / h. Thanks to the Power Tank range extension system, the range can be increased to 359 km in the city, which makes the SR even more versatile.
Control and comfort
The 2025 Zero SR has a reliable and adaptive Showa suspension, which consists of a 43 mm inverted fork and an adjustable monoshock absorber. This allows the motorcycle to easily cope with unevenness on the road and provide a smooth ride. The braking system with ABS from Bosch and dual front discs provides confident braking, which is especially important for maintaining safety on the road.
The low center of gravity, typical for electric motorcycles, makes the SR very stable and maneuverable. This allows the motorcycle to feel confident both in city traffic and on country roads.
Technology and features
The 2025 Zero SR is equipped with an advanced Cypher II control system, which allows the rider to customize riding modes, including Eco, Sport, Custom and others. This allows you to adapt the behavior of the motorcycle to the preferences of the driver and riding conditions. In addition, the SR supports over-the-air software updates, allowing you to improve the functionality of the motorcycle without having to visit a service center.
For the convenience of users, the motorcycle is equipped with a built-in 3 kW charger, which allows you to charge the battery from a standard outlet. The full charge time is about 9.8 hours, but using fast charging stations, this figure can be significantly reduced.
