The new motorcycle in the cruiser category is the 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan S. The model aims to be a versatile motorcycle, performing well on the open road, off-road, and in cities.

The 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan S has a 649cc (39.6 cubic inch), liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with DOHC. The maximum power output is 61 hp at 7,500 rpm, and the maximum torque is 47 lb-ft at 6,600 rpm.

The new Vulcan will have an electric start with a digital ignition system and a 6-speed transmission. The clutch is a wet, multi-disc with manual operation.

Design

The Vulcan S has a retro design, but it is also powerful, as the performance is derived from the Ninja, Kawasaki’s supersport line.

The headlight and the five-spoke wheels give a mix of tradition and modernity. The multi-position levers give the rider more flexibility in riding, further improved with the 18”/17” wheels.

In terms of comfort, the Vulcan S has a compact engine to improve the riding position. The low center of gravity makes it easy to reach the ground.

2025 Vulcan S Cafe

Kawasaki is expected to launch the 2025 Vulcan S Cafe in the US market, which is a slightly more complete model than the Vulcan S.

The Cafe model has sportier handling, an exclusive emblem on the tank, sporty graphics, three-tone paintwork, and a smoked windshield.

The Vulcan S achieves an average of 45 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway.
