Honda Announces 10 Launches for the US
Honda’s commercial director, Marcelo Langrave, has announced that the motorcycle manufacturer will launch 10 models in the US market by 2025. The proposal is to strengthen the brand’s portfolio.
Honda will renew existing models and launch new motorcycles for the US. However, the motorcycle manufacturer has not confirmed any specific models or given more details about which lines will undergo a redesign.
Honda is considering entering the rental market in an effort to offer services to the US market.
The Arrival of the 2025 Honda CB750 Hornet
The new Hornet is a major arrival that the US market is anticipating. Honda has already registered the patent in the US, and sales could start in 2025. The model features the fairing that made the motorcycle very famous in the country.
The CB750 has traditional Hornet minimalism with a hardcore attitude. The dynamic handling of a motorcycle weighing just 419 lbs is optimized for everyday riding.
The Hornet has a 4-stroke, 8-valve, 270° parallel twin, uni-cam engine with 755cc (46 cubic inch) displacement and a maximum power of 91 hp. The suspension features a long-travel Showa fork and a pro-link swingarm monoshock at the rear, in addition to ABS brakes.
The motorcycle has HSTC torque control and Wheelie Control with 3 levels of adjustment. The 5-inch color screen provides navigation with all the necessary commands for riding.
In the US market, the 2025 Honda Hornet has a suggested price starting at $8,000.
The New Hornet 1000?
Honda specialists are discussing the creation of a more powerful Hornet sibling by the year 2025. The goal would be to launch a 1000cc Hornet with more than 120 hp, bringing a streetfighter look.
What About Electric Motorcycles?
One of Honda’s current focuses is the production of electric motorcycles. At the end of 2022, the brand presented the world with the Honda EM1, the Japanese brand’s electric scooter.
The vehicle, named the Honda EM1e, has a small and simple design. The range of the battery is 25 miles, and the battery can be removed for charging.
Honda has yet to provide further details on EM1 release dates and locations. However, the brand has confirmed that it will make at least 10 new electric models by 2025.
Redesigned Motorcycles
Honda may revamp two very traditional models in the US: the XRE 300 and CG Titan. The XRE 300 was recently removed from the motorcycle manufacturer’s website, indicating a possible redesign, especially with the Sahara model.
The CG Titan may also receive changes in the future.
