The Ducati V21L is Ducati’s first electric model. The project was designed by Ducati R&D, seeking to combine Ducati’s performance with environmental sustainability.

The motorcycle weighs 496 lbs and features a 150 hp electric motor that produces 141 lb-ft of torque. With these specifications, the prototype has already reached a speed of 171 mph.

The battery weighs 243 lbs and has a maximum capacity of 18 kWh. The motor weighs 46 lbs and has a maximum rotation speed of 18,000 rpm.

The cooling system of the motorcycle is a key feature of the Ducati V21L, using a dual circuit to cool the inverter and motor.

The battery takes 45 minutes to charge to 80% capacity. The swingarm is made of aluminum, and the underside of the seat is made from carbon fiber.

Tires and Brakes

The motorcycle uses Brembo brakes, with dual front discs, GP4MR 32/36 calipers, and a radial master cylinder.

At the rear, there is a single 8.7-inch disc with a P34 caliper.

Availability

The Ducati V21L will debut at the MotoE World Cup. Ducati will be the official supplier of the competition, putting a total of 18 motorcycles on the track in the 2025 season.
