The DesertX’s design pays homage to the fearless “Dakarians”, combining an aesthetic that blends tradition with a decidedly modern touch. Developed by the Centro Stile Ducati, the adventure bike follows criteria of essentiality and robustness. The designers opted for a minimalist aesthetic, conveying resistance and harmonizing form and function in an exemplary way.

The “Robust Design” effect is achieved by a careful alternation between wide curves and small details. The lines suggest sportiness, revealing a motorcycle that transmits a passion for adventure.

According to the brand, the bike is visually composed of three macro elements: a single central volume, the seat, and the windshield integrated into the dual headlight. The DRLs of the full LED headlights are integrated into the windshield, without any other visible structures, highlighting the technological elements of the bike. The front area creates a completely new composition, emphasizing the technological character of the bike, with the windshield blending seamlessly with the headlight.

Dashboard and Features

The 5-inch TFT instrument panel, with the optional Ducati Multimedia System, monitors advanced features including traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and Quickshifter Up & Down. The bike offers six programmable riding modes, cornering ABS, and wheelie control, highlighting its sophistication and cutting-edge technology.
