Discover the Dafra Apache Line
Dafra Motos is a US motorcycle manufacturer that produces vehicles for other brands. Dafra also creates partnerships for its own launches. One of these partnerships is with the Indian company TVS for the production of the Apache line.
The US already has the Dafra Apache RTR 200, a motorcycle produced in partnership with TVS. The 197cc (12 cubic inch) bike has a 4-valve engine with a front optical block and full LED lighting. The Apache RTR 200 has a suggested price of $3,500 in the US market.
2025 Dafra Apache RTR 160
The 2025 RTR 160 is already available in the Indian market and should arrive in the US in 2025. The motorcycle is a smaller displacement version of the RT 200, with similar characteristics.
The oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke engine has a 159cc (9.7 cubic inch) displacement and reaches a maximum power of 17.55 hp. The 4-valve engine is an evolution of the technology of the old Apache.
The motorcycle is built with LED headlights engraved with the TVS logo. The aerodynamic mirrors give a more aggressive and sporty style. The tank top also features the Apache line design. The new seat provides a sporty riding experience.
Construction
The Apache has a double-cradle synchronized rigid frame. Like the RTR 200 available in the US, the front suspension is a Showa telescopic fork. The rear is an adjustable monoshock.
The 2025 Apache RTR 160 has electric ignition and a 5-speed transmission. The disc brakes are Super Moto ABS, for more stability. Brake control is also present.
Technology
The Dafra Apache that should arrive in the US has different riding modes. Urban mode improves acceleration/deceleration and optimizes ABS for city riding.
Sport mode unleashes the motorcycle’s full power with sharp acceleration. Rain mode gives more power to the ABS brakes and control in wet terrain.
The 2025 Apache RTR 160 should arrive in the US with GTT (Glide Through Technology) for improved low-speed handling.
The motorcycle’s design is all about sporting style, enhanced by very wide wheels and exhaust guards. The digital TFT screen is very large and brings all the necessary information for riding, such as riding modes, speed, and gear level.
The 2025 RTR 160 should reach a maximum speed of 71 mph.
Price
Dafra has not yet confirmed dates and prices for the 2025 Apache RTR 160 in the US. The 200cc companion has an exit price of around $3,500. The smaller motorcycle should have a lower price, at least around $2,700 to $2,900.
