Meet the New S 1000 R

The BMW S 1000 R was built to balance power with comfort. It is a visually aggressive but balanced motorcycle.

The vehicle is inspired by BMW racing motorcycles. The model comes in metallic black, sport gray, and white/red/blue motorsport colors.

Engine

The 2025 BMW S 1000 R features a 999cc (61 cubic inch), 4-stroke, 4-cylinder engine with liquid cooling and 4 valves per cylinder. The maximum power output is 167.2 hp at 11,000 rpm, and the maximum torque is 83.6 lb-ft at 11,000 rpm.

The engine features electronic fuel injection and a BMS-K+ system with two different ignitions to smooth the shifts.

The transmission is a 6-speed with DTC traction control and a multi-disc clutch. The S 1000 R has a top speed of over 186 mph.

Technology

The BMW motorcycle features a complete package of technology. It has LED lights, ABS brakes, and traction control.

The steering control has 3 different modes: Rain, Road, and Dynamic. The riding position is fully adjustable.

The TFT screen has a lot of information and is fully connectable with other devices.

In addition to the standard equipment, the 2025 BMW S 1000 R has many options to improve the configuration, such as DDC (dynamic damping control), Shift Assist Pro, and a travel pack with bags and other adjustments to make the seat even more comfortable.
